Morocco Essaouira Barrow men

Essaouira barrow men are local informal porters who use wheeled handcarts or barrows to transport luggage, goods, and supplies through the car-free, narrow, and winding streets of Essaouira's historic Medina,

They meet arriving visitors at bus stops, city gates or taxi drop-off points to offer luggage transport directly to riads and hotels.

Because cars and standard taxis cannot enter the pedestrian-only zones of the old town, barrow men fill a vital transport gap.

Here are a selection of Portrait observations of the Essaouira Barrow men they were friendly and helpful, I had just a few seconds to capture the image.
